Customer service was horrific at the sushi bar of all places. Seven me rotten fish and was like"oh well genes your bill"

Food was great; service was abysmal. We were one of two tables in there (both two-tops). Waitress/hostess was too busy chatting with the bartender to notice us. Took 13 minutes to get our two waters, and another 33 minutes to get two bowls of ramen. Never once asked how our meals were or refill our drinks. Only time in my life I have not left a tip.

Reasonable prices, delicious food, neat hibachi bar..but gives me the runs every time after, regardless what I order.

We dined at Little Tokyo recently. The food was lovely and the service excellent.

Why it only received 3 stars:
1. On the sushi menu, they were out of 2 of the 3 items I requested. Maybe it would be better to print daily menus, or simply have servers recite what is available if you do not plan to have the full menu available.
2.It was dead silent in the dining area and our server mentioned that the speaker had been broken for 6 months. 6 months! Come on now guys. That's pretty sad.
3. On top of no ambiance, the dining room looked like it belonged on an 80s cruise ship. May be time for an update yall.
4. The hostess was extra awkward. When we walked up, she said "How may I help you?" which seemed a bit odd. Are you a security guard? Further in the night when our friend came to join us, she wished him "good look" upon finding our table while we were one of two dining in the restaurant.
