Little Waldorf Saloon, Reno, Nevada Restaurant Details

This place may be a big deal with the locals and UNR students, but we're from out of town and just wanted a good burger, and this historic restaurant sounded interesting so we gave it a try. If you want you weekly allotment of sodium in one meal... this is for you. My wife had the personal size pizza, I had the thunder chili burger with fries. We usually only eat half or meal and take out the rest, but everything was so salty we couldn't finish the first half. We added a couple of small dinner salads. Obviously they'd been setting in the cooler for a while, but after picking out the brown, limp lettuce pieces they were the best part of our meals. Lots of interesting stuff to look at on the walls. Our server was friendly and very efficient and the food came quickly, but we can't recommend this one.

Used to love this place. Returned for a football game and they painted it red! Are you freaking kidding me?!? This is supposed to be a Nevada bar!

The Chicken Wings Rock!!! Large selection of beers on tap.. There is Free Line Dance Lessons currently there every Friday Night. Lesson Begins between 7:30pm and 7:45pm. After the lesson there is open dancing and reviews of previous lessons taught. Come and get your dance on with Vaquera Vikki...

Some reviewer calls this the perfect small town corner bar? Where is he from LA? This ain't no small town buddy? It's the biggest little city in the world! And this bar is not on the corner, it's between Virginia Street and Sierra Street. This is a large, college bar. I'm not sure if there's a mixed crowd here on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday night. Every time I'm here there's nothing but college kids. This is THE place to hit on college women. But you better have your A game on, because they're not all psyc and health ecology majors anymore. They're like accounting and biochem and math and sh**. Fact is, there are now more females in college than males, and they're getting into all the formerly all male fields. They're taking over the world I tell you! This place gets packed. Dance floor in back and good sized patio in front. Two pool tables in back too. You can't create a better floor plan for a college bar, except the restrooms are small and always have lines with amateur kids puking all over themselves and the floor. Funny how many times you see puke before the restroom door like they ALMOST made it. SO CLOSE! It's hella fun if you want to hang with college kids and hit on college girls. Did I just say hella? Is that still in? Try this line on the college girls, yo diggity, wat up fool? You da bomb! Fa sho! You da cat's meow and it would honor me to request your company to the drive in and check out this new Elvis guy. I hear he's just dreamy!
