Lobster Shack, Wildwood, New Jersey Restaurant Details

Very good went there two years in a row this year I went to uries and the sea food was overcooked Lobster Shack was done perfectly good service and food

Food sucks. Tasteless, bland, boring. Service sucks. Management. servers are worthless. But it's not there fault, it's the d-bag owner's who doesn't care about his customers or employees. Prices are extremely high for the crappy food that is served. Again not the chefs fault but the limitations enforced by the Marxist owners. This is no class joint. Don't waste your money, or do and don't say I didn't try to warn you.

We arrived at the restaurant around 9 pm, they didn't have there own parking so we paid 5 at the parking lot across the street. They sat us down quickly as there wasn't many people there. We had a coupon for a free shrimp cocktail which turned out to be 9 shrimps, I guess for Free its that bad. The bread rolls were ok. We ordered Coke and Diet Coke - diet coke tasted like medicine but the other drinks were ok a little flat. My wife ordered as an entree the stuffed Lobster. SHE LOVED IT!!!!!!!!! She said it was the best well cooked lobster she had in a long time. The waiter forgot to bring out the stuffing for it, so when she came back she asked for it, thank god she did because she said the stuffing was out of this world. Mind you my wife knows seafood, she portuguese and she loved every bite.
I ordered the fried flounder sandwich, it was ok. It lacked seasoning, and they forgot to put the tarter sauce on it so I had to ask the waiter to bring me some out. The lettuce and tomatoes was not the freshest but the fries were good. I was a little disappointed with the sandwich - not to mention the portion really was not that much, you would think for $12.99 you would get more things (cole slaw, bigger roll, more lettuce or tomatoe, pickle and etc). My daughter ordered the Alaskan Crab Legs. Again nothing to write home about, it lacked seasoning but I guess it they were ok, she did love the mashed potatoes though.

So I would go back and try something else. Like I mentioned before I did get there at 9pm so maybe they were winding down not sure. I will reccommend this place for the Lobster though.

I had an awesome experience at Lobster Shack. The customer service was excellent. I give this restaurant 5 stars all across the board. The manager on board that night was Mr. Barry and he even came over to my table and sealed the deal with his professionalism and courtesy. I told people about this place and they are also looking forward to the experience.

We went back to lobster shack today, 8/6/12, because my kids loved the foods here. We were here about 6-7 years ago, and we spent dinner here about 4 times that time. Now, all our steak are all burned, baked potatoes are all burned,lobster tail is not as good as before, and gave us 3 bread for party of 7. When I asked for more, the waitress told me, shes not supposed to give me more because they are short of bread? How do you expect us to have 3 breads for 7 people? I complaint that all of our steaks are burned, exhanged with a new not burned, but NO TASTE at all. AS we were eating teh beef, i feel eating the beef that was just thrown under the fire. My kids were so shocked and told me maybe the previous cook who was cooking the food 6-7 yrs ago died already? Then, when I was paying, I told the waitress that we were there before and foods were excellent, that's why we came back from a long trip. Now, everything sucks. I felt we were ripped off. I paid $256, and none of us were happy. Then, she told me, ITS NOW NEW OWNER! Also, I am kind of wondering why they want all customers to wait 20-25 mins, and the restaurant is empty??? One family left and asked then same question. Older couple screamed at the waitress because they went straight at the table and she wants them out? BUT ONLY 3 tables are occupied and all tables are empty??? WHY? I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ANYMORE. FOOD SUCKS NOW. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!! PASS THIS TO EVERYONE!! I USED TO LOVE THIS PLACE, BUT, AVOID THIS ONE!!!
