Best place for lobster and muscles anywhere - don't miss out on this when you visit Waterville! The prices are amazing as well, plus a great view. Staff are always friendly. Must eat here!

I adore seafood and this place offers some of the best in the city. Nice location, close to the river.

There are 5 of us that will never go back there and will definitely convince others to stay away as well. This was the most disappointing meal for the price that we have all ever experienced. The food was average but the portion was beyond skimpy. Ex: for $17.99 four of got 4 oz of haddock (the size of one bay scallop) and 3 sea scallops with a sprinkling of Ritz crackers. The portion of haddock was so small we thought it was another scallop on the plate. When asked if this was the lunch portion we were informed in was the dinner portion and that they weight the food before preparing it! YES, we were told they actually weigh their portions! The meal also included a semi cooked (warm, hard) baked potato and an ice cream size scoop of squash. Each person got ONE roll & ONE pat of butter only! All for $17.99 - what a deal, NOT!!! The 5th member ordered the sautéed lobster for $24.99 and got about a cup size serving! Really? For $25???? As we were leaving, someone came over and asked if there was anything they could do the help the fact that we were disappointed with the portion size? We had already paid and we were leaving! You tell me, what could they have done to fix that issue? Seriously, serve the rest of the meal??? That's the last time we'll go there. The place is hurting for business now and it won't be long before the doors close!!! Steer clear if you don't want to leave still hungry. One thing is for sure, they are saving on "doggy bags" or boxes to take left over home!

We have our Kappa Delta Phi, Nu Chapter Alumni banquet there every first Saturday in March, and they always go out of their way to accommodate us.

Go Elsewhere! There are many restaurants in the area that far surpass this tourist trap. The quality of food is potentially dangerous to ones health and well-being. The atmosphere is dismal and you can feel the uncleanliness. It seems to be run by someone who is not a good Employer. Customer complaints are strongly disregarded, and often times the customer is insulted by how issues are resolved, if at all. Great employees come and go frequently, while the worst are kept. This restaurant is plagued with Unwelcoming, caddy hostess' who are unable to do their jobs. The web site is old and dated, making all of the information displayed untruthful. The owner has also made employees fill out good reviews, quite pathetic really. I would never eat there again because, as a whole, IT IS THE WORST PLACE TO SUPPORT. The owner is known to discriminate and treat many walks of life badly. Hence, the revolving door. If you like to support the community, eat somewhere else. There are ample places to get FRESH seafood that is not frozen. The Winslow Seafood truck has better deals then the lobster trap market, and they pick up fresh. The Red Barn has just opened up across from the Lobster Trap and their food is unbeatable. As for the disparaging comments made here by others: they are true to the best of my knowledge.
