I had a groupon to use so we couldn't wait to try it. Great decor, modern but not minimalist. Nice views of the complex. Our server Mike was attentive and knowledgeable and was able to recommend some dishes. I had the scallops to start and they were amazing but the best thing I have ever tasted was my main course---- Shepherds pie. As a Brit I had to try it and it did not disappoint. We were told the chef is British too so I could see his influence in the menu choices. If I am to get technical it should be cottage pie as it was beef instead of lamb but I don't care. The Wagiuy (not sure of spelling) beef from Japan was amazing, melt in your mouth amazing. My husband had the sirloin and he too loved it. We were stuffed so could only manage the sorbet. It is pricey but we got more than we ever imagined for our money. It's a special place for a date or occasion. Highly recommended.

The food is innovative, local and decadent! The chef is a true community advocate and aims to benefit the surrounding community as well as his guest tastes buds. I don't know the chef personally, but he visited our table and spoke with us for about 20 minutes about buying local food and community goals. It seems he is a saint in and out of the kitchen!

The service was perfect! Always attentive but not too many interruptions, as overly attentive service can occasionally be. Our server (I wish I could recall her name!) was well versed in the preparation of the main fare, specials and wine list. She was very personable and we had some great conversations with her about the food, atmosphere and history behind the restaurant.

I highly recommend Loft 610 for a date night out, a business dinner, or just to try a new fusion of flavors that satisfy every time.

Just a side note- I personally had the lamb chops and it was the first time I had tried lamb. I wasn't sure how I wanted it cooked and in fact, I sent it back at first for a little more fire when it was first served. The server was gracious about the plate being sent back and later the chef was relaxed and accommodating regarding it being sent back. (I only bring this up because there is a steakhouse chain in Omaha that was less then gracious when we sent back the $12 hash browns because it was frozen in the middle. We were not impressed.) By the way, the lamb chops were fabulous!!!!
