This is easily my favorite breakfast in Gatlinburg. We visited a few of the other pancake houses, but no one else holds up to the quality you get here. The French Toast Royale is amazing. Seriously, even if you get pancakes it's worth shelling out a dollar or so to get a little of the royale sauce. It will change your world.

Kim was our server. I think she waited on us when we were last in Gatlinburg, too. She said she's been there for 20 years, and it shows that she still cares. Great service, great food, pretty building... You can't go wrong.

Food:

The best meal we had in town. Misty was our server and she was very friendly as well as efficient. She excelled in every way! We have two children and she also had the foresight of bringing extra napkins! My husband was unsure of which pancakes to order. When he asked Misty she recommended the pancakes royale. I can't begin to describe how amazing these pancakes were. Everything else we ordered which was very tasty could not compare to their deliciousness. We are so happy we drove by the pancake pantry saw the line and kept driving. We doubt we would have had such a wonderful experience. The buffet also looked very appetizing. When we visit again this is our go to breakfast place.

The service was horrible, well, the server was rude to us anywa. The food was tasteless, the sausage patties and links were the best thing and they were microwaved. The gravy I ordered was nasty and tasteless and the pancakes were unbelievably gross, they tasted more like flour than a pancake.

Food:

The buckwheat pancakes are fantastic, the service is great and it has great ambiance. I just wish their coffee and orange juice was better. Be sure to visit in the winter when they are using their fireplaces.

Our favorite spot in Gatlinburg! We eat breakfast here every morning we are in town and count down until we can come back. My husband, myself, and our 3 kids usually eat for around $40 and we can never finish our plates there is so much food. We have always had hot fresh food and a great waitress. If you want to skip The line like we do show up when they open The doors-if you aren't there by 8:30, there is a line out The door because this place is so good. The Pancakes Royale are to die for as is the entire menu. Don't be fooled into going anywhere else for breakfast.
