REVOLTING!! I enjoyed LJS while living in California many times at many different locations. I was excited to find one in my new home in Alaska. The first time I went the food seemed like it was dripping grease. I know this isn't health food and I know its greasy food but this was beyond normal. Like it had been cooked 3 hours ago and then left sitting in a pan of grease. But, I thought I'd give them another try since it had been a few months and maybe I just caught them on an off day. This time it was even worse. Ten dollars for food that I couldn't even eat. The only thing that was remotely hot was the shrimp. But it was mushy inside. The fish and the chicken were both old and cold and again, seemed like they had been resting in a bowl of grease. The fish inside was mush and the chicken was tough, I could hardly bite it. The whole meal was so disgusting that I threw it away after 2 bites of everything. Even the soda was gross, like it didn't have enough syrup. I wanted to stick my finger down my throat and throw up. If I hadn't gotten it to go, I would have demanded a refund. I will never go here again.

I've come here maybe 3 times since the anchorage location opened. The first time wasn't bad at all. Employees were friendly, the place was clean, and all that good stuff. The two times I've been there since then, the place was pretty bad. The service was less than desirable, and the place was a mess. Not a single clean table, the bathrooms were trashed, and even the trays were gross! The first time this happened, I figured it was a busy day, or a rush had come through recently. Now I'm seeing a trend. A very gross trend.
