Los Compadres, Reno, Nevada Restaurant Details

Food:

This place has gone down hill since it opened. Last night the meal was disgusting and the manager was shockingly rude when I brought it to their attention. I love to support our local restaurants, but this one has seen the last of me.

Food:

After securing a reservation for 11 people for a birthday celebration and securing separate check were okay - in person at the reception desk - we were informed while ordering drinks that there are NO EXCEPTIONS on separate checks by the manager himself. No change after some discussion. Four people came from the bay area and California, the rest were local. Every food order was delivered to the wrong person, drinks mixed up and the food was very mediocre! BIG damper on the gathering! After spending years living in Guatemala, a Chile Rellano undercooked was not pleasing. I do not recommend any of the three locations for this restaurant. Embarrassing for the party and people attending. After 30 years in business, Los Compared needs to remember: the customer is "always right" and people come FIRST!

Took forever to get our order taken. Then we waited 15 minutes for drink refills. At the one hour mark we got our food, but had to wait another 15 for a drink refill. Food was not bad and not great. I can go to a handful of other Mexican restaurants and get similar food with MUCH better service!!

Food:

Service was good. Salsa was plain. Salsa really makes the restaurant in my opinion. I asked the waitress for their hot salsa and she brought me what I would consider just mild salsa. They were also blended salsa, not chunky. Food was okay, but nothing spectacular. We went there based on the 5 star rating, which I don't understand at all. I would only give this place an average rating at best.

Food:

The food is quite good but the service is probably the worst I have had in a very long time! The 2 young ladies at the front were rude and inhospitable. The servers seemed not to care and did not want to hear what we had to say.
