12/02/2014 7:23 pmA few years back, my husband was in Reno on business so I toured the area during the day and stumbled into this place. The bartender was beyond welcoming and explained the history and culture of this restuarant. Along with the Picon Punch, he let me sample a few other menu items which were all delicious! I enjoyed the friendly patrons and dice game so much I made sure to visit one more time before I left the town. |

11/24/2014 7:07 pmWe made reservations for 630 for ten folks for a birthday, sounds fine, but then stood around for 20 minutes waiting to be seated, which would have been fine on a busy evening but this was not such. What made our group uninterested in returning was two people wanted to split a meal to save some money because the cheapest entree was something around $25, but it did not say on the menu nor did the waiter tell us that they would be charged a $20 "No Dinner Entree" fee. When we brought this up o the waiter he was initially defensive (though we were not) and he never addressed the problem of why the customer never knew they would be charged. The food was good but our group tends to look for better interactions with the staff and some honesty. |

09/05/2014 2:22 amWow this food is good you can tell it is home made. I loved the food and the family style dining. If your not a friendly person you might not like the family style dining. It was great service and it cost about 30.00 for two people for lunch. I left a ten dollar tip the lunch was that good. They served bread soup then salad. The beans they brought were screaming good. I had the lamb it was cooked awesome the gravy kicked butt I got extra and poured it over the awesome fries they brought. You can tell the meal was fresh with fresh ingredients. You can taste the food. It is not prepackage reheated food. This is the real deal. |

09/04/2014 3:28 pmOver priced ($30+/person). Wilted lettuce with a few tomatoes in the salad. Very salty soup. Other menu items not all that good. Desert was semi melted ice cream with a little chocolate syrup. Poor service. Added 18% tip on bill @#%. Very noisy. Tables so close together that it was hard to get in or out. Impossible to visit. Over all a very poor dinning experience. Will never dine here again and will warn friends. |
