Luby's Cafeteria, San Antonio, Texas Restaurant Details

Food:

love this place, the food, service and atmosphere are great! Except the 2 ladies at the register that are constantly ringing that bell. It was so often that it just became a nuisance! You only have to ring it once ladies, the people working there heard it, you ringing it repeatedly while looking around for other employees is offensive, they are not your slaves, they will be there as quickly as they can be!

Food:

Friendly and attentive staff. 4 dinner plates with dessert for 60.00 more than i remember the food is still soooo good and the staff made it worth every penny

The place was packed and people became rude . I finally got my fried fish, mashed potatoes and gravy, and mac and cheese. I asked for tarta sauce but was ignored the waitress never came to my table to see if I needed anything. My experience was less than satisfying.

Food:

I dislike having to get back in line behind 10 ppl to get a hash brown. I asked 2 of the staff if i had to get back in line and they said yes. After waiting a few mins i get inpatient and storm off. They see me and then they ask if they can help me get something. ..after the fact. Never going back. I mean after spending almost $30 for breakfast. Plus my food was getting cold while i was in line. Smh

My Favorite Luby's! :) Always go thru the Drive Thru and within 5 minutes I have my Chicken Fried Chicken with macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes with 2 white rolls and a large sweet tea.. It is a bit expensive tho. Each time I go it's $13 :'( but the food is soooo good :(
