Had Early Dinner @ 5 pm. Was very quiet, had the meatloaf w/ mashed potatoes & sautéed spinach. For the price, I Didn't like that I had to pack up my own leftovers.

This is a classy place, with consistent food and service. I like to go here, thought it's a little expensive for my taste

Over the years, Maguire's seemed to have gotten into a rut, even if it is a semi-classy restaurant. The menu, although containing very good selections, rarely changed. And the ambience seemed a little worn down. Always had great food and service, though - without an upscale price! I haven't been in since they remodeled and updated the menu, so I will be sure to revise my critique once I have a chance to return. And I will!

UPDATE:
The menu is still much the same albeit very good and well-prepared selections as always!
The first change I noticed was the hostess' stand was moved toward the front door and the bar is now wraparound in lieu of having a single row with a back. Gives a more open feel.
