Mak's is the best Chinese place in Tidewater Area. Very nice people.

At the very least, Mak's provides the best Chinese food in Chesapeake, based on my own personal taste testing. China Ocean, China Garden and all of the rest can't compare to Mak's quality. The service is fast, the employee's are beyond friendly and now know me by name, but most importantly the food is incredible. I've never had a bad or wrong order from Mak's in my life, and I have been eating there for well over fifteen years. Considering China Ocean (Bainbridge Blvd.) messed up the first order I ever placed with them, this is apparently quite the accomplishment.
