If you want real tasty Mexican food.. This is it.. Man what tacos.. No frills humble tasty tacos just the way it should be.. The margaritas are quite potent I must say..

Definitely the worst restaurant experience I've had in my entire life. The decor isn't the best but that's something I am willing to ignore if the service or food is good. They weren't. From the moment we went in the service was terrible, our waitress obviously had no idea how to work in the service industry. She barely said anything to us, no "My name is ____" or "I'll be taking care of you." or anything nice or making us feel welcome, other than asking us for our drink order. After looking at the menu for about 5 minutes she asked if we were ready to order, which we weren't. And that was fine. But not a minute later she hollered at us from across the room if we were ready. Then she did it again. It was terrible. Most of the night she sighed and moaned loudly about how she wanted to go home. Let's move on to the food. I ordered a chorizo enchilada and a steak burrito combination dinner or something similar, for 10 bucks, I got two tiny little rolls about the size of taquitos. My girlfriend ordered a bean chimichanga. It wasn't a chimichanga, since it wasn't fried, it was a regular bean burrito. I say regular but the beans didn't seem authentic at all and tasted like they came out of the can. I'm guessing it wasn't fried because they shut down all the fryers so they could leave early, as everyone in the restraunt seemed to be making that their main priority. Both of our dishes were covered in a LOT of watery sour cream, which was disgusting. If you want good Mexican food, great atmosphere, service, food, and portions, go to Pancho's on Massillon or Mi Casa on Waterloo, they're both great. But never go to Rancheros Taqueria.

I used to love this place. For years I would go to dollar taco night and stop in for bomb huevos rancheros. Since the last expansion, the quality and service has steadily declined. The last time I went was a couple months ago. The salsa wasn't fresh. You could tell they used used some kind of canned tomato sauce with no tomato chunks! The waitress brought our food out and didn't bring my tortillas. My food was cold by the time my tortillas came and the ranchero sauce was not the same as it used to be. I didn't finish my food and was very embarrassed because I brought a friend there to show them my favorite Mexican restaurant. We both left hungry and disappointed. I won't be going back. They sold out, folks. Look for a new taco spot.

This restaurant specializes in family style Mexican food. Not fancy high end Mexican food, just down home cooking-type Mexican. Ok, now here's the thing: it's the BEST family style Mexican food you can get. Period. I challenge anyone, anywhere, to match it.
In addition it is clean, well-run, and the service is excellent. It is not expensive. The portions are large.
So, you cannot go wrong! All you have to do is go there and try it!

Update: This amazing restaurant now offers additional specials: shrimp and spaghetti. Collard greens and potatoes. Mole sauce and chicken. You've got to try this place! Worth a drive to get there.
