If I could give 0 stars I would. We had hoped for a nice dinner out to celebrate my wife's birthday. We noticed the sign outside advertising oyster's and decided to give Maxwell's a try. We should have taken the hint when we tried to order oyster's and were told they were out. We had some crab stuffed mushrooms for appetizers instead which were OK, nothing special. Our salads looked as though they had been sitting out for several hours and had to be sent back. The wines were overpriced and not very good. Our steaks were terrible, tough, fatty, and flavorless. I felt completely ripped off when our $100+ bill arrived. I've had better steaks at the Waffle House.

We went to Maxwell's expecting a nice meal and we were extremely disappointed. The service was horrible, the food was not worth the price, and the restaurant seemed dirty. We ordered the steak and lobster with garlic mashed potatoes. The potatoes tasted like they were instant. My husband had the clam chowder and said it tasted just like Campbells. We even found a hair in our bread!! Please eat somewhere else! McDonalds would be a better meal!!
