Fantastic Indian food! I ate at the dinner buffet. There were so many selections, each delicious and different. It also includes chai, which I enjoy. I felt $13 for the amount and quality of food was a bargain. Try the gulab jamuns. They're off the hook. Will definitely eat here again.

I was pleased with the quality of the food. I'm in Jackson TN and ordered takeout for a party of 7 adults. When placing my order over the phone I explained that everyone in my party was either a desi (i.e. of Indian origin) or very closely familiar and well accustomed to Indian food. Therefore I requested them to prepare our food accordingly, (i.e. very spicy) which they did.

My friends and I think the Indian food from this restaurant is good. Everyone really enjoyed the food that we ordered, which was the following: Garlic Nans with cilantro added to it, Chicken Tika Masala w/ gravy, Butter Chicken w/gravy, and Chicken Biryani.

We also ordered the Tandoori Chicken which was garnished nicely and appropriately with onions and lemons. They also added 2 or 3 thin slices of cucumber and carrot to it, which all was nicely balanced and definitely complemented the tandoori chicken. They also generously provided us separately on the side mango pickle chutney, white rice, plain nans, and more nicely sliced raw onions and lemons.

I think with any kind of food, such seemingly small things actually matter a lot and especially with Indian food. Hence when making and preparing Indian cuisine, I think details matter a lot and make a big difference in the overall experience, quality, and enjoyment.

Again, I and the people in my party were all very pleased with our food from this restaurant. Therefore if your in the Memphis area I recommend trying this Mayuri restaurant as the food is good and also reasonably priced.
