This "elegant" Northwest District veteran "removed from the hustle and bustle" in a historic building on the 1905 World's Fair site proffers the "perfect example" of Pacific NW cuisine, thanks to dishes featuring seasonal produce from its own nearby farm presented with "excellent, informative" service; the "fantastic" garden patio makes "the high prices worthwhile", while the "country-club vibe" attracts a mature crowd, and it all leaves diners "pleasantly surprised."

The Building and grounds at Meriwether's Restaurant are very romantic… We have been passing by for years, and finally decided to give them a try to celebrate a recent family event…

The Shrimp Bisque and the Vanilla Maple Crème Brûlée were good… The Fish & Chips that I ordered were really only mediocre… As high as their prices were the meal was disappointing.

Also note - The women’s restroom was terrible! Very dark, and the stalls were smaller than a phone booth!

We would probably only ever go back for soup…

Wonderful overall experience would have been 5 stars but my eggs were over done a tad. I know picky, picky...

Feels like stepping into an old house built in the early 1900s. Plenty of historic pictures to keep your eyes busy. Upscale feel but warm and friendly. Perfect place to bring a visitor.

One of our favorites. Table by fireplace, innovative presentations & wonderful tasting food, good service. Great for birthday celebration.

They were on the leading edge of locally sourced, fresh, organic foods. Their preparation is good as well, but the menu itself feels a little flat relative to other offerings in the Portland area. It's a nice place to celebrate a special occasion and there's a beautiful covered heated back patio that is perfect anytime of year.
