One of my two favorite "near Lincoln" places to go. A real dining room, not terribly fancy but more than a bar room atmosphere.

The absolute best in customer service and the food is OUTSTANDING! One of Nebraska's little treasures that has and will continue to stand the test of time! Very much recommended!

Have dined at Merle's several times when making a trip to West 'O' St. near Lincoln. Food used to be good to excellent, but has recently fallen below expectations. My wife and I dined in, last night, and had their special... 'Chicken Fried Steak'. It was processed crap. Merle's has really become disappointing the last few dining-in experiences.
