Mi Amigo's Mexican Grill, Mesa, Arizona, Mexican Restaurant Details

My wife and I go here about once every couple weeks. Its safe to say its our favorite restaurant. It certainly isn't a high end "Authentico Mexican Experience" or anything like that, but what you can expect is a great meal that wont break your wallet. The free freshly made chips and salsa while you wait is probably what keeps us coming back. Its simple, and every Mexican restaurant does it, but Mis Amigos does it right. Pair that with a tall Dos Equis and I don't really know what else you could ask for. The best part of Mi Amigos is the next day at lunch time, when you realize there are leftovers still in the fridge.

I've enjoyed eating at Mi Amigo's. I really can't think of any Mexican food restaurants in Mesa that I haven't enjoyed, although I'm sure there had to have been at least one.
Specifically about Mi Amigo's - I had a gift card to eat there the last time my wife and I went, so it was that much more enjoyable. ;)
I do like that every year they have a celebration and give some great discounts on their food. They started business in 1977 and in honor of that they give you 77% off if you were born in 1977. Guess what year my birthday is! Yeah! Gotta love that.

Very slow and almost rude service. Food, when it finally got there, was very bland and cold. Definitley NOT worth fhe money.
