I'm writing to give 5 stars because the place had amazing service. I ordered a prime cowboy ribeye steak and it was really not the greatest I've had honestly, but it was cooked perfectly. The flavor was there, the quality of the cut was just poor. Besides that, the lobster cargot and the mashed potatoes were right on point. I would definitely recommend giving them a shot, because it may have just been that steak in particular that was flawed.

Last night we went there for our anniversary. We expecting to be WOW'd but instead we had crappy service and a $50 steak that tasted and felt like a cheap sirloin from a super-center.. Our server treated us poorly and acting like a snob. My filet had grit and I had to thoroughly chew every bite. The only thing good was the wonderful wine. We have dined here before and enjoyed each time so we knew what to expect while going. But it was mostly depressing knowing we spent close to $300 for my husband and I to eat then walk away wishing we had just made a perfectly cooked steak at home. I wouldn't recommend going at dinner on a weekend.. Because all our other times were late evening after rush on a week day. Good luck if this is where you choose to enjoy a special evening.

To be fair to this establishment, this review is quite late, as I went in April of 2014. However, the bitter taste of a certain dish was so horrid that the rest of my meal could no longer be given the benefit of the doubt. The server that day was very busy, I ate during prom season, so I can give no qualms about how well she took care of us. To begin my meal, one of the best appetizers was served to me in the form of crab cakes, which to this day I have not found a match in flavor or texture, either in the kitchen or at any other restaurants. If I was to return it would only be because of this dish. The second part of my meal is where the good tidings end, however. Unfortunately I was the one at the table to recommend the lobster bisque to everyone, having had relatively good experience with the dish in the past. And I am sorry to say I may have in the process scared off 7 potential clients for the restaurant that day. The lobster bisque can be only described as 5% lobster, 5% bisque, and 90% sherry. I felt as if I would have to inform the valet that I would need to call a taxi instead. Even the well seasoned crab legs and long forgotten dessert could not remove the taste, as the alcohol-infused soup was all we could discuss the rest of the night. Whenever I recall this restaurant, this is the first thing that pops in my mind. At least the soup would be great for wild parties.

Cons: Lethal lobster bisque, Very dark lighting for a 4PM Lunch/Dinner
Neutral: Staff and servers did well for a busy night, but still slow

Wow, wow, & wow!! The hubby and I have been to several, amazing places in our 8 years of marriage - but this one just might take the cake. Celebrating our anniversary, we made an impromptu stop here for dinner after a later night fairy ride.
From the moment we walked in the door, from the host staff to the wait staff, everything was superb. Joseph, our server, made wonderful recommendations that couldn't have been any better. Starting with the Lobster Cargot, along with the wine pairing and meals, and topped off with the anniversary photo they took, printed and hand delivered to us with a "Happy Anniversary" card - not to mention the complimentary dessert they offered. Talk about AMAZING customer service!
Thanks Mickey Mantles and staff for making our 8 year celebration a great memory.

Great food and service. Typical high class and quality steak house. Ordered the mesquite smoked filet and was extremely pleased. Will go back and I highly recommend this place.
