Mimi's Cafe, Chandler, Arizona Restaurant Details

Food:

The server was excellent and tried his best to make up for the awful food, but couldn't. Everything came out cold and clearly microwaved, including the bread, corn chowder, and the seafood, which is dangerous. I had been looking forward to the "fresh baked" croissants, but the one I got was cold and bready. The salad was straight out of a bag and browned at the ends. The mussels came out on a hot plate, hot in the center and cold at the edges, in a congealed "wine butter" sauce that had no taste of wine. The cheese sauce in the Chicken Tillamook Cheddar Mac tasted like and had the consistency of coming out of a can. My husband's steak and mashed potatoes, which tasted like Costco's off brand, were also underwhelming. The manager comped the meal, but we probably won't be back.

I was there last month for father's day. Service was really slow with few tables. I ordered Roasted half chicken. Food came out and there was chicken feather attached to my half chicken. Manager changed my food and charged it. Absolutely not going back!!!!!.

If 0 stars were an option i would have chosen it! My boyfriend and I decided to try Mimi's Cafe last night for dinner. We got there just after 6pm and were seated right away which was awesome. However, that's were our satisfaction ended. The special for the night was some type of chicken dish, but the chicken would not be ready for a other 30 minutes! On top of that, the waitress seemed to know little about the overall menu and even less about the other specials. Needless to say we got the check for the glass of wine I ordered and decided to take our business to an establishment who was prepared for the dinner rush!

I used to come here when I worked at the mall. I really liked the atmosphere but the wait was just absolutely ridiculous. There were a couple of times where I got there 2 hours before my shift and barely got my food before it was time for me to leave.

No wonder they keep closing down. Absolutely awful service. Do not come here. We were told to leave after being there for 20 minutes. Saying they aren't seating anyone at 7pm. Bullcrap. There were a lot of guests eating. Joke place.
