03/02/2016 7:28 pmI go out of my way to come here everytime I come home on leave and I've never been disappointed. I wish it would let me post a picture of my sub, I had a healthy portion of meat and only paid 5 bucks. They've also always gotten my specific requests correct (just to address some of the other reviews). |

11/24/2015 4:36 pmNot really sure why this place is so popular, perhaps because there isn't another true sandwich shop/deli in the area. But, the sandwiches are small and overpriced for not including even a pickle. The subs lack substance and the combinations are also strange... I've never had mayo tomato and lettuce on a cheese steak and nor do I want to again. Most recently asked for wheat instead of rye on pastrami sandwich and it came as a 4" piece of THIN sub roll with a piece of cheese and very small amount of pastrami, for $7. Have tried multiple times and never quite - or nearly- satisfied. NY/NJ subs trump these guys, big time. |

08/01/2015 10:12 pmOrdered the steak and cheese with sweet peppers on the side. This sub was probably the "thinnest" sub I have ever had. Not much meat or anything else, except for the roll. I'm sure they have the meat portioned out, but for 8 bucks it isn't enough. Also, I didn't detect one onion and the sweet peppers that I ordered on the side came in a small ramekin that was more fitting for half a sub, not a whole one. If you thought subway was all bread and no meat than try a Mr. Jim's sub! Sorry, not going back. There are other options out there. My 18 y/o son ordered the smoked turkey and bacon and was less than impressed. He looked at me and asked "what is this?" Rated it 2 stars only because what meat was actually in the sub tasted ok. As a business owner myself I know the importance of value - this was no value. |
