Mixx Fusions & Sushi, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Sushi Restaurant Details

Today I went to Mixx and decided to treat my Mom and her boyfriend to lunch. We decided on the "All you can you eat", lunch special. The young waiter said as little as possible in the empty restaurant. The first thing we ordered were the spring rolls. They were horrible! It was filled with a miniscule amount of cabbage and carrots, and a large amount of thick chunky brown gravy. Instead of duck sauce there was... bbq sauce? I was already turned off at this point. We ordered a small assortment of sushi each. My Mom's boyfriend is not a huge fan of sushi so he only ordered a California and Spider Roll. My mother and I ordered 3 rolls each. The food was not very good at all we could not even finish our meals. When we asked the quiet young waiter for the check, he threatened that if we didn't finish our food we would have to pay $1 for each piece of sushi left... According to the "All you can eat" rules. The cost would have easily been well over $20! What country do you think you are in?!!!

Loved it! Walked down from the hotel I was staying in. Very nice staff. Super fast service. AWESOME sushi!

Food:

Not the best sushi in the world. Its not super fresh or of the highest quality but they don't skimp on portions like many budget sushi places. They also have an all you can eat deal which is actually good deal. The only reason its not a great deal is because they're a good value to begin with.

Food:

I come here often with my friend who lives nearby. The Vietnamese coffee alone is worth the visit but the sushi is always good. Normally I get the sashimi platter, and the fish has always been fresh save one time it was just ever so slightly gamy.

The customer service here has always gone out of their way to accommodate me or the party I was with, no matter how large or demanding.

Food:

I went here for dinner with a group of 4. Everything that we ordered was delicious. The Miso soup is the best I've ever had. The sushi was extremely fresh and well presented. I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner and will return for dinner or lunch sometime very soon.
