The chocolate is absolutely decadent and vegan friendly too! Chocolate isn't the only thing sold there either, the owner loves to travel and brings back jewlery and artwork to sell in the shop. Anchorage can seem like a boring town until you look in the nooks and crannies, like this one.

In a nutshell good stuff: Try the Loose leaf teas. I am a coffee drinker but decided on the loose leaf varieties of a green (spearmint) and vanilla-mint tea. They were both delicious and I highly recommend them. The staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. The space is fun with artsy decor and has comfy chairs and other neat places to sit (meatl stools near teh metal/glass-topped bar).
In a nut shell bad stuff: The chocolate is average at best. I tried several truffles: the goat cheese dark chocolate, the cherry white chocolate; a spicy dark chocolate (cannot remember the name) and the anchovy dark chocolate. They each essentially tasted the same with this exception...if you nibbled on the dried anchovy on top of the anchovy truffle, then it tasted salty; and the spicy one was, well, spicy. Otherwise, I felt that I wasted my money and should have just purchased more tea. So I say enjoy the tea and avoid the varieties of chocolate.

Incredible chocolates you won't find in most places, from all over the world. Fantastic chocolate drinks. Careful with the spicy blend though, they use 3 chili peppers in their mix. They also have an impressive display of art, jewelry, and stationery. Definitely coming back.
