01/07/2015 9:59 pmMy wife and I arrived for early dinner service and got a great table by the open window, perfect for people watching. She ordered Gnocchi with Gorgonzola sauce, walnuts, & spinach, definitely the best gnocchi she has had: pillowy pasta with rich, perfectly flavored sauce. I ordered fettuccini alla pescatore, asked for it spicy, and received the most delicious seafood pasta dish I've had. Riesling and Pinot noir wines by the glass were solid, waiter and owner (manager?) were welcoming and charming, and prices were good for quality and quantity offered. Highly recommended. |

10/04/2014 1:14 amA great place for people watching along the popular Columbus Avenue. Service was great and food was surprisingly good (since it's in the touristy area). I saw mostly regulars and local San Franciscans tonight - that is a good sign to me. According to my Italian friend, the dishes here are authentic and he eats there often. The most awesome part about this place is probably the classic Fiat that is parked outside, available for two people to dine in it comfortably. |

07/01/2014 12:04 amThe fettucini alla pescatore is the best italian dish i've ever had, plain and simple. Although the table arrangement could be better, i would recommend this classic-style italian to anyone who isn't claustrophobic. |
