09/27/2012 8:24 pmI went here for restaurant week and was generally unimpressed. We had a large group and even though I had communicated seating requests and arrangements, the tables/arrangements weren't executed according to plan. Our meals took a very very long time to come out, and once they were there, no one was blown away by their dish. |

02/20/2012 1:13 pmOur reservations were at 8:15pm. When we arrived, a frazzled hostess informed us that they were running a bit late. No big deal to us. We got a drink at the bar. As time went on, we were one of the few people still waiting for a table. We were finally seated at 9pm, after people who walked in WITHOUT RESERVATIONS (a birthday party who begged to be seated; they ended up just leaving after waiting too long for their food). We didn't get our food until 10:25pm, which was just ridiculous. People around us were having the same experience. We overheard one table remarking that their reservations were at 6:30pm. They didn't get their food until 9:30pm!! I've never seen such mismanagement in my life. The manager was walking around in circles and NEVER came up to our table to apologize, even though our waiter claimed that he told the manager of our situation. It was the most unpleasant dining experience I've ever had. Plus, my husband's salmon was EXTREMELY overcooked. Gross. |

02/06/2012 8:44 pmThis restaurant is overrated. The food is just ok and not worth remembering, especially for the price. |

10/07/2010 12:54 amAfter having been a good customer for years, we have decided not to return to Mosaic after our dinner last week. We have always had excellent meals and excellent service prior to last week. We often brought clients, relatives, and friends to enjoy dinner. However, last week we had a negative experience. Granted, it was Restaurant Week; but, that should not have produced poor quality food. We came to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We came with my 89 year old mother, my niece and her husband. Unfortunately, only two of us were satisfied with the meal. |

05/05/2010 1:58 pmWe went here before going to a show at Fishers Theater and had an excellent meal, high quality, decent pricing for the portion, quality and presentation. Excellent wine and great service. It's great to see something like this in Detroit! I'm looking forward to going back for another special occasion. |
