01/10/2016 7:52 pmJust sat next to Mayor Duggan and Senator Stabenow for the past hour for Sunday brunch. They know the magic of Mudgies too. You gotta eat at this place! |

12/31/2015 4:50 amAte here on recommendation of a friend. Read reviews and looked at multiple pictures of food posted online. Was excited to eat there. Was VERY disappointed in everything. Four of us ordered 4 different sandwiches and all said "Eh, it's ok". Nothing gourmet or special about it. The sides were absolutely horrible. None of us could eat more than one third of the potato or maccaroni salad. I sent back the maccaroni to have mayo put in it (was absolutely DRY). Got it back, took one more bite and was done. Just a really poor effort. The fudgie mudgie is nothing special. NO chocolate whatsoever. Just a waffel that had cocoa powder in it. Cocoa is NOT chocolate. There is a big difference. Would not recommend this place or won't eat there again. |

12/16/2015 1:14 amMudgie's is my favorite deli in the city. The ingredients are top notch, the portions are good sized, and the Corktown location is close enough to downtown to not be too inconvenient, but far enough to keep out the casual diners. That's actually a good thing, because they're always busy with diehard regulars when I go, and the place is too small to accommodate a much bigger lunch rush. |
