My Florist Cafe is out of business. They were there yesterday, but today they are history.

First off, the manager seemed to be a bumbling idiot. He walked around like a chicken with his head cut off most of the time. I was about to ask the manager, Keith, if he knew where he was but then I thought better of it.The food was good, service was great.

Food:

First off the pianist is great and might be the only reason we keep going the My Florist. She's the reason they get 3 stars. Without her it's 2 stars.
Most of the time we are dissatisfied with the service. A simple request like water or a fork has gone unanswered from 15 minutes. We had a great waiter last night but the majority seem to be barely present. Service is not at the top of their list. One time the entire table had a meal sitting in front of them while one person waited 10 more minutes for his meal. It's Waiter 101 type stuff. We almost never experience these issues at other restaurants.
It's not little kid friendly. They don't have highchairs or booster seats.

Just went to My Florist last night. Typically I like the nice sandwiches and salads but this time I was incredibly disappointed, so much so I am still thinking about it the next morning:( I had the crab cake salad and have never tasted such a disgusting crab cake. And to top it off both mine and my friend's salad had some dirt in it. If you want crab cakes, you're better off buying them from Trader Joes.

I have a to say Nicole is one of if not the reason why I enjoy dining here.

The menu is simple however very well put together, the drinks special are fresh and creative, the restaurant decor is very modern and comfortable, and the service has always been good so all this makes it a great experience.

It is one of my favorite place to enjoy and evening out here in the valley and to top if off, normally I come in with my family so which really makes it enjoyable.
