02/06/2016 3:54 amCarrie Nahabedian's "innovative" New American–Mediterranean menu yields "well-made", "beautifully plated" dishes with "delicate" flavors at this River North "favorite"; service is "courteous" and the "minimalist" dining room works equally well for "office dinners and date nights" – just be prepared for "pricey" tabs. |

11/26/2015 4:59 amVery modern and well decorated restaurant. The service was excellent but not very welcoming. We ordered the beet salad and duck. The salad was underwhelming both in size and flavor. It was plated well and very appealing, but did not as satisfying to eat. The duck was undercooked, but had good flavor. Naha was a excellent restaurant, but not a great restaurant for the price we paid. |

03/10/2015 5:35 pmAhh another overrated Michelin starred restaurant--- not that I frequent Michelin starred restaurants, but I wouldn't think that Naha is a Michelin starred restaurant unless I knew that going in. Came here for Restaurant week in early February, and wasn't impressed. Our server was great-- and good service is important, but the food just didn't cut it. |

02/04/2015 7:02 pmWent to Naha for dinner during Restaurant Week (before committing to a $300-ish date night). The food was incredible: Well-crafted, well-portioned and creative. What I love about this chef is the thoughtfulness in how both flavors and textures come together in the finished dishes. The donut dessert I had was probably the most fun dish I've ever eaten. I will definitely come back for a special occasion. Only complaint is that the restaurant got pretty noisy by the time we left, as the seating is very open and in close quarters. |

10/04/2014 1:56 pmService was 5/5, food was 4/5. The foie gras appetizer was fantastic and worth every penny. The duck breast entre wa flavorful, but surprisingly chewy - there was a piece of connective tissue in there that I had to use all my force to cut through with the knife. It still taste good, was just that eating it was not as elegant as I would have expected. The chocolate dessert was great with an excellent balance of sweet and bitter flavors. |

09/04/2014 7:31 pmWe had an amazing dinner at NAHA for our anniversary. Everything was superb: the understated, quietly elegant decor, the view of streets, the cocktail menu, the wine list, the unobtrusive yet attentive service, the outstanding, inventive menu, and of course the food. We're wowed by the appetizer items: corn soup, risotto, and scallops. My husband claimed that the corn soup was one of the best dishes he's ever tasted. The quail was excellently done, naturally. "Inventive" is the word that comes to mind when I try to summarize NAHA. What's amazing is that they manage to deliver soul-warming comfort food and experience at the same time. The Michelin star is well-deserved. |
