When we walked up ,worker was sitting on bucket by doorway smoking. Went in placed order,ate. walked out worker was still by door smoking. Got to my vehicle which was parked in front of neelys and found someone had broken my passager side window, stolen my GPS and girlfriends purse from under seat. The whole time this worker was sitting there. Police arrived and worker went inside neelys and i saw him walk around back out of neelys and went into apartment complex. Please don't waste your time or money. the food is not good, food network made a big mistake by say this is one of the top ten Bar-B-Que places of Memphis. The service i found was excellent,but now i know why. I feel,when they know you're from out of town, they work togethter with the local low life and keep you in there long enough for them to steal from you.

I TOOK MY HUSBAND OUT TO EAT AT THE NEELYS. VERY NOT PLEASED. OUT OF ALL BUT ONE DESERT. (THE GIRL SAID THE LADY DOES NOT WORK ON THE WEEKEND BUT SHE WAS VERY SORRY) IT WAS NOT HER FOUT . NO VEGT. ON THE MENU NOTHING TO EAT HEATHY NO SOUVINERS TO BUY AND BRING BACK I WILL. I WONDER IF YOU GUYS ARE SO BUSY THAT YOU HAVE FORGOT WHERE YOU CAME FROM THAT NOBODY IS RUNNING YOUR BUSSINESS ?

I ordered water to drink - water tasted like pool water mixed with dirty mop water.

My large bbq sandwich was served on a tiny saucer, which made it hard to eat and messier than it had to be - made me feel like a damn fool. The meat was very fatty, had a few small bones in it, and was bland. You don't get to choose what kind of sauce comes on it, only if it has slaw on it or on the side.

Overall, lackluster and bland at best, disgusting at the worst, I will not ever eat here or recommend it to anyone. Try Central Barbecue - much better and they actually have combo meals (Neely's tries to get you to order everything a-la-carte - it's a barbecue joint, not a fancy Italian restaurant. Jesus).

We ordered the Smapler platter and split it.

$12.99, and we had enough left over to feed someone else. The Turkey and pulled pork were both awesome. Just make sure they bring you some extra BBQ sauce.
