I am a big fan of this restaurant and spend big money as I tell my co-workers about it...this is the second time I have gotten stomach ache from eating left over food not freshly prepared food. I just had lunch after 2pm Friday Lamb Masala and I am vomiting ...I should have know looking at it was so pale compare to other times when its freshly made very rich and red/orange. I toss it all in the trash...$16 just like that. I am very disappointed.

They serve excellent Indian food. The buffet has a wide selection. I remember, this location was an African Restaurant around 2004 -/+, serving Senegalese food. It was highly rated then. Then, one day they suddenly closed. Surprising, considering the publicity they enjoyed.

A cheap buffet for dinner. I think that Tikka masala chicken is SO over priced everywhere else that I know you will come out of here with the belly full. Food wise, it's a hit or miss. I have gone there when the food was so good. Chicken was not HARD and the flavor was melding well in terms of all the spices. But I also went there when all pieces of chicken were hard and simply nasty.

Very conveniently locates and pretty great for the price you pay. I recommend it for the buffet lunch. I have not been there for another meal, but I imagine the food quality and pricing would be similar. It is one of the best options available for Indian cuisine in this price range.

Desis, beware: New Delhi's food is not for us, especially not their buffet. Everything is bland and doesn't taste 'Indian' in the least. If you are looking for something more authentic, well, Tandoor next door has a better-tasting buffet, and if you're willing to compromise on the buffet, Dana Mandi on Chestnut street is as authentic as it gets!

New Delhi has by far the best ambience among the Indian restaurants in this area though, and also has very good service. Now, if only their food were a little better...
