While there's a reasonable range of yummy Chinese classics at this Hong Kong–style Chinatown mainstay, it's all about the must-get seafood, including super-fresh selections plucked right from a tank; the decor is nothing special so some stick to takeaway, though service is quick either way.

We came to New Jumbo with high expectations. As tourists we asked some locals about good restaurants in the area, and this one came up. It also had decent reviews, and that is partially why I am writing this negative one. The waiter was extremely rude, maybe because I was with two black people (it appears to be a rarity in Boston). Our food did not come out together, and one order was completely wrong. When we informed the waiter of the incorrect order, he attempted to blame us for misordering (we ordered a pork dish, and he brought soft shell crab). They display fish in tanks in the front, many appeared dead, and crowded. The bathrooms are deplorable, at this point if you ignore my warnings and still proceed to New Jumbo - hold it.

Loberster tastes good with very reasonable price. Lot of people so don't expect service.

This is the last Boston restaurant I will be writing about for now.

The restaurant was great! I liked it! I would probably not rank it higher than The Daily Catch or Locale, but it was good!

It had a lot of vegetables, which was very good, as I was constipated. I had had very few vegetables for the past few days. All of the stir-fry vegetables were fresh and not too salty nor too oily.

The lobster was just as well done as The Daily Catch's, but I have to say, I enjoyed it more. I have to eat Asian food once in a while, I cannot survive without it.

There were also the scallop and broccoli which tasted like my mom's cooking, something I had not had for a long time. I really enjoyed the tofu dish too (I am unsure of the exact contents).

The reason I liked it so much was probably because I had not eaten Asian food for a long time. Now that I think of it, my grandma's cooking is better.

All this talk of food is stimulating my stomach. Bye.

I was there yesterday and just loved it! Mainly, the food. I'm not an expert in Asian cuisine, but I do go to Chinese restaurants quite frequently. Food in this place was really good - fresh, spicy with a lot of variety. I had spicy chicken and two other parties had fish. We all loved it! Service is OK, I never actually expect high-end service in Chinese restaurants. But again, service was definitely OK. Overall, great place!
