Don't judge the Russo's chain by this branch. The food at this location is awful - always cold; and the manager is VERY rude. I have been in on countless occasions and had similar experiences. Would have given it 0 stars if I could have..

First time ever give any reveiws. Not good at all. Food tasted like it was reheated in the microwave. Paid $40 for lasagna , penne pastsa and 2 drinks. Will never eat here again.

I don't usually write reviews on restaurants or food chains, specially negative ones, but I would feel terrible if someone wasted time and money going there as I did.

I used to love the Cypress location, so I went there with a date assuming at least the food would be the same. First time we went to Russo's at this particular location, even though they claim to be open until 11PM, I went there at 9:30PM and they weren't serving anything besides pizza. The pizza was alright, it wasn't anything to die for, but it was tasty enough. I went there again, at an earlier time, because I really recall loving the menu and food at Cypress, and I basically paid nearly $50 for rubbery calamari, a warm pasta with undercooked mushrooms, 1/3 ravioli, and 2/3's sauce, and a sandwich that Subway can put to shame at a lesser cost. The fountain punch-fruit drink also had a very odd aftertaste.

I'm probably never going back to this location again, despite living nearly across the street. This is not the Russo's I know, and for anyone experiencing their food for the first time, go elsewhere before you judge. The Briar Forest location by the Energy Corridor is just simply terrible.
