02/05/2016 1:54 amClassy and classic rooftop bar/restaurant where you pay a 20% premium for a near 270 degree view of Philly and ornate decor. The library bar is an excellent spot to reenact the film noir scenes of your dreams. Could the food be better? Of course. Do you pay for more for sight and sound than taste? Sure. But I don't understand the outrage of other reviews. It's just like eating in rittenhouse. And if you want a decent deal in principle, skip dinner and go for the breakfast buffet. |

02/01/2016 4:33 amGoogle asked to describe my experience, but there is no button on my keyboard that sounds like the noise I made when I was vomiting. After I had here I was bedridden with violent dry heaving for hours on end. I prayed for death and cursed everything from the Romans to Hyatt for my pain. |

12/28/2015 4:23 amThis is a nice looking place but I would not recommend it for afternoon tea. For $36 per person you are given 3 tiers with bite size sandwiches and pastries. Each tier has 3 options and each person gets 1 small sandwich per option. So don't come with an empty stomach. Bite size peanut butter and Jelly was included on the tray. I was disappointed to see peanut butter and jelly included!!!! For $36 I expected more. |

12/15/2015 11:29 pmThere are many wonderful and exciting restaurants in Philadelphia, and Nineteen is not one of them. While the view from the windows is impressive, this is the only redeeming quality of an otherwise underwhelming and exorbitantly expensive restaurant. Our waiter was uncomfortably inexperienced, the portions small and unexciting, and the dessert (ice cream) seemed to be pulled from the back of a supermarket freezer. Overall it was an experience that could be expected at a local hotel bar. Not worthy of the opulence of the Bellevue, and certainly not worth the prices. |

11/29/2015 8:09 pmMy husband and I got married twice. Our first wedding was intimate - just us! After signing our marriage certificate and saying our vows, we had dinner at XIX. It was perfect. Intimate, elegant, sophisticated, strong service and tasty! It was a warm night and the balconies were open - making for a great view. XIX is a great place to go for a special date night. |
