Ordered some rolls here, and each was delicious. Staff was friendly, sake was yummy, and sushi was flavorful. The option for all you can eat for $21.99 is a phenomenal deal.

We decided to try a new restaurant that has favorable reviews. We didn't get an opportunity to try the food because we waited over 15 minutes after they brought us drinks and they never came to take our order. When we got up to leave the waitress was apologetic but said she assumed our order was put in. She walked by us several times and didn't bother to check. They still made us pay for the drinks at the end of it. This was a Sunday night, not very busy, so a higher level of service was not an unrealistic expectation. Needless to say we will not be going back if they think that ignoring guests and assuming they are taken care is a way to run a restaurant. I guess the lights not being replaced in their sign is a reflection of how they do business. Very disappointing.

I've eaten a little sushi in my day (many thousands of pieces) including Nobu 2x along with lot's of other good to great places around the country. The Ninja All-You-Can-Eat was always an incredible value at $20 with a surprisingly wide range of nigiri and roll choices. Nothing super fancy, and as you would expect it doesn't include sashimi, or some of the more costly cuts like toro, otoro, or enagi, etc. And the AYCE price recently went up to $24, but it's still a great value for all the nigiri and rolls you want, as I easily eat 40-50 pieces, or more in a sitting. Seiku behind the bar works Fr-Tues lunches and always delivers quality sushi and when you sit at the bar he actually offers suggestions which are always spot on. (remember this is for bare bones AYCE sushi folks and you are still getting special suggestions) I recently tried a Phoenix roll (minus cream cheese - cream cheese on sushi? yuck!) made with black rice and it was really good. Black rice had a nice texture and added a faint peanut flavor. Black rice is $2 extra per roll and it's available only every once in a while. But ask for it if you can remember. Seiku, when he has it, has also provided genuine Japanese wasabe (which is soooo much better than the fake wasabe made from reconstituted horse radish powder and green food coloring that get's foisted on us in virtually all sushi restaurants). The experience is a good one and the sushi pretty darned good for AYCE!! Overall a great value!

Awesome sushi, friendly staff, and authentic neon Japanese feel.

This place has character... reminds me of the neon diners in Japan; truly authentic feeling and food if you know what you're looking for. The fish always tastes very good and my advice is to go with the "all you can eat" option. Take your time and enjoy with a nice sake bomb!

***UPDATED 3//21/2015****

I typically love this place, service was off though, way off compared to the last time I went. I literally had to wait thirty minutes between rolls. They were busy but it seemed like the waiters were just being super flakey and there was a chef just sitting behind the counter staring off into space (literally, my wife pointed this out).

Normally I'm super forgiving, especially with places I like but between the wait and being made felt like I was given some huge favor by being let to take my last roll to go (was on the all you can eat), I have to downgrade to three stars because of the price. I made it through two hand rolls (these were very good) a chicken roll (terrrrrible, but my wife asked me to try it) and the final two rolls that took another thirty minutes - I just can't say I love this place like I used to.

$50 is fair for two or three rounds of rolls and an entree if service is at least decent, this night it was "okay" at best, even that's being kind of generous. Look, I run a business too and I know how hard food service can be, but a waitress shouldn't be flaking around talking about videogames with customers if you're so slammed it takes you 30 minutes to get out an order. I don't think I'm being too harsh. The food here is good, the price is fair but the service was poor, so I give you three stars. I've been coming to Ninja for like at least three or four years and it looks like a lot of new staff, please whip them into shape and maybe we can get you back up to a four or five star review. For now, I feel like I've got no choice but to take you down to three, sorry.

P.S. Please for the love of all that is good, take that terrible chicken roll off your sushi menu, it's the grossest concoction I've ever tasted and you're better than that.
