02/19/2015 7:54 pmBest ribeye I've had in years! I've been looking for a steak to replicate an unearthly experience with a ribeye I had in Maui at Ruth's Chris. I've been to nearly all the nice steakhouses I can find including RC. Nothing satisfied until tonight. It was thick cut, cooked medium rare perfectly (which is dang hard to find anymore) and came out on a sizzling plate. Every bite was hot and perfectly seasoned so I could take the steak. Well done Chef! |

01/20/2014 5:22 pmI really enjoyed my meal here last week. I go out to eat 4-5 times a week and my two favorite cuisines are Italian and American (steak). This is a great combination of the 2, as the menu is split with one side "Italian Menu" and the other side "Steakhouse Menu." Luckily, I was here with 4 other people and we were able to try an assortment of dishes from both sides. We had calamari, mushroom salad with gorgonzola, shrimp scampi, and spinach ravioli to start. For mains, we all spilt, a porterhouse for 3, tuna, veal scaloppini, and the chicken, with broccoli rabe, spinach and mashed potatoes as sides. Everything we ate was really well prepared, but I will say my favorites were the spinach ravioli, the calamari, and the tuna. The consensus at the table was to have the steak medium rare, and whereas I know it's sacrilege, I prefer my steak a little more towards the medium end of things. That being said, it was cooked to a perfect medium rare, and did have an excellent aged flavor. For those who love the taste of blood, this steak was for you. Everyone at the table was overly stuffed, and beyond satisfied after the main courses, but it's nearly impossible for me to go somewhere and not try dessert. We had homemade tiramisu, panna cotta, ricotta cheesecake, and a selection of gelati and sorbet. The cheesecake and the panna cotta were very good, but the tiramisu stole the show. It was composed enough to be able to eat it with a fork, but so creamy and delicious. The entire party had a lovely time and great food. I'm looking forward to trying other Nino owned establishments. |

11/17/2013 10:21 amIt wasn't the food so much as the attitude. I need a low fat option because of a medical condition but I was friends who didn't. I asked what I could have a rather dismissively the waiter said, 'Steamed chicken'. Then after explaining at length what I required, they brought my salad smothered in OLIVE OIL. I said, Erm this salad has oil on it and the waiter said, 'But it's good oil -- olive oil.' |
