08/29/2011 12:14 amYou might get a little sticker shock when you first sit down, but the food and portions are amazing! Hand tossed homemade pizza crust, garlic knots from scratch, and awesome ziti and alfredo make this a favorite! |

11/18/2010 8:14 pmVery overpriced. Had their version of lasagna and it tasted like it came from a can. The other food we got was not very good either. |

10/22/2010 3:12 amThe food is better than mass produced fast food, but the prices are for a better resurant. The house wine was good, but at $9.00 a for a half full glass. I was wanting to be at Brown Jug looking for something very good for my money. I won't be back. |
Food:
08/12/2008 7:40 amI agree the garlic knots were the high point. I also had the stromboli appetizer which was good. However, the baked rigatoni with meatballs was extremely bland. They make up for the lack of flavor by just giving you a ton of food. I kept eating hoping I would find a tasty bite. No luck there. Not only was the sauce bland, the meatballs tasted and had the consistency of Chef Boyardee meatballs, only bigger. The waitress said they were the family recipe. I am not Italian but I think I could make a better family recipe. I saw Nino leaving the parking lot and noticed his car still had New York plates. I think that is a great bit of marketing. People see that and naturally assume that must be how things should taste. My wife is from New York so I was able to see right through this fakery. It was not bad but it just was not very great. |
