A lot better than the reviews give credit for. Half-price happy hour is also a big plus. I had the cold ramen, and it was just right.

WARNING TO ALL VEGETARIANS.. all soup broth is pork based including vegetable soup. I eat meat though and like their sushi and tan tan.

As an Americanized Asian, I like St. Marks, this very Asian-American hot spot, but I've learned to not have too high of expectations when exploring the grubs here. There are tons of hip food spots to choose from and most are pretty solid, but nothing really stands out as amazing.

This place is no different. I came here just for the ramen and it was exactly what I expected...fine. The spicy tonkotsu broth wasn't spicy at all and, while quite salty, was also somewhat bland in the umami category. It wasn't horrible. I ate my whole bowl of noodles and fixin's, but left the broth behind.

For my friend trying ramen for the first time, I felt the need to explain that there's better ramen out there and to please not let this experience prevent him from trying ramen again.

My friends and I came here a lot when we were younger. It's helpful if you want sushi on a budget. Other items include ramen, curry rice, and a selection of appetizers. My favorite items to get here include the takoyaki, broiled squid, golden dragon roll, titanic roll, and fancy naruto roll. The service is always good.

Zen is perfect for a calming night out. This was my first time and I was kind of hesitant, I really dislike trying new places on my own. But the food was amazing. I had mostly sushi but I tried the "LOVE EEL" (the name just made me curious) and that is my new favorite dish.
