Awesome place. Served food at the bar - perfect for a lone diner like me. Friendly staff. Highly recommend the steak salad, I cleared the plate.

Really enjoyed the friendly service and ice cold beer on tap! Stumbled upon this joint as I had just finished some business nearby and was waiting for some friends. I agree with some other reviwers that it does seem a bit dingy and rundown from outside.. but once inside, the long polished rich wooden bar lends some modern chicness to the place. The food i had (a burger) was a bit ordinary, but overall a decent establishment.

When you can't find a table at 21st Amendment, just come here. My bf and I got a seat within seconds of stepping into Nova. Sat down, did our Yelp research for recommendations and proceeded to order the Nova Burger and Blacked Chicken Fettucini. Bf's burger came first and looked okay, nothing fancy or anything, but definitely a generous portion. The fries were decent, but not addicting. Then came my pasta. I started to eat and was looking for the chicken... kept looking, but all I could find was tomatoes. So I asked my bf to see if he saw any chicken on my plate, or if I was going delirious from all the late hours I've been working. Nope, no chicken.. what's a chicken pasta dish without the chicken??? So I asked our waitress if she gave me the wrong order. She took my pasta and checked in with the kitchen. The chef thought she said no chicken.... *sigh* But they brought it back within a couple of minutes with the chicken. I mean they could've just left my pasta there and brought me chicken. But at least they did something about it, which I did appreciate. However, the chicken was kind of dry and the pasta was too creamy. Not really a fan, and definitely not a place I would pick if I had a choice.

This is a nice casual place. Like a dive bar but with food! And sports games to be watched on the flatscreens. Good area in fidi too.

This was stop #3 on a mac and cheese crawl though South Beach courtesy of Google + Local and this was by far my favorite establishment that we visited. The mac and cheese was amazing. We went in with a party of about 10-15 people and they had no problem accommodating us. The speciality mix drinks were especially good. This bar is my speed, there is a good beer selection, the drinks are great and the people were amazing. All in all I would have to say that out of all of the "local" type bars that I have been to this ranks right up there at the top. My wife and I liked it so much that we went back to have a burger a few weeks later. And again we had great service and great food.
