Oasis Cafe, Riverside, California, Ovo Restaurant Details

I visited oasis cafe for the first time today, was in the area looked on Google for vegan friendly restaurants and this place was the closest so I thought I'd give it a try. The vibe of the staff is horrible seems they don't care much about the type of body language they give off or even about the restaurant in general, I didn't let that BUG me I was hungry! Placed me order I got the vegan papusa. Took about 10 minutes to recive my food. Started to enjoy had a couple bites when I noticed a weird black object in the food, with a close look I discovered it was a BUG! A fly to be exact. I was chewing food at the monment which I then proceeded to empty my mouth with the food. I was completely disgusted and immediately went up to the window Ina mindful manner of course and brought it to the cashiers attention. She didn't say anything grabbed the plate and showed it to the cook, she totally disregarded it and said it wasn't there when she made the food. Basically acting as if I had a dead life less fly handy and stuck it in the food, I asked for a refund I was denied and told they can't give a refund because I had area couple bites. She offered me a new one instead I told her It was fine didn't wanna make it into a big deal. Never said sorry or anything really rude and Nasty people the kick hen looks gross and obviously they don't know how to handle food. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody definitely will never return! And the food is real mediocre for the price now authentic flavor what so ever.

I love that i have a place like this in riverside county, its one of the best vegan places ove tried in a while.

Sorry, but i don't know how this place has "amazing" reviews. It was honestly disgusting! Everything was dry like it was left out all day, i got the steak burrito and the steak was full blow slimy!! And my husband and i, inclhding our children are vegan, my son has a dairy allergy and the lady told us all that we ordered was vegan. Well, she gave us this yellow sauce (which was disgusting) my hus husband and i tasted it and felt it wasn't vegan, so we went back and then the lady said "oh yeah that has dairy" i was pissed. Why not warn someone that something isn't vegan when they asked numerous times if ANYTHING contained milk!? The vibe of the whole place was off and we will definitely never be going back. I don't think the people who left reviews ever actually been to other vegan places, because this was by far the worst.

Best Vegan place I think I've tried. I had the steak burrito. For those wondering why it's closed on Saturdays, many of the businesses and the University are part of the 7th Day Adventist church which follows the original Sabbath and promotes healthy eating. Even the local Carl's has a veggie burger.

I usually have the Steak Burger but have also tried other items as well. The breakfast menu is not bad given that I replaced my breakfast burrito eggs with tofu. The fresh juices are great and the dining area inside is very cozy (with available cucumber water). The market also has a good selection of vegan/vegetarian, free range, cruelty-free items from raw food to soap. One of a very few vegan-friendly places in Riverside, but nonetheless one of the best.
