For a bar with the slogan "overpriced drinks and lousy service" I actually enjoyed the time I spent here. Happy hour is definitely the way to go 3-6 and the drinks get under 5$.

Quick bar service and friendly staff. Loved it!

Decent breakfast. Got fast service on a Friday morning. A little pricey for what you get but not too outrageous for a touristy place like OC.

Surfin Bettys has the best Orange Crush in OC! The bartender John is a very cool and nice guy, order a crush if you are here. Definitely a very welcoming place to sit with friends and family and enjoy the sunshine and beautiful beach with a Reggae soundtrack playing all day and night. :)

Worse food and worse service. We waited 25 mins just for someone to approach our table. Two tables behind us were served and seated after we sat down they all watched us sitting there waiting and no one came to our table. We had to go to the hostess station for service. Then they tell us there is no egg whites because of the bird flu yet my boyfriends father was able to order eggs over easy. We asked them if why they can't just separate the eggs and the manager gave us an attitude about and and said she would check. She came back out and threw a plate of egg whites on the table in front of my boyfriend then continued to watch us eat 2 tables away. The food was terrible on top of it. My egg omelet wasn't even cooked I couldn't eat it. Never again

Burgers were horribly dry, could taste a filler in it. Price was expensive for the food ....hostess was doing all the work while two managers were standing there talking. Asked for buffalo sauce and got bbq sauce. Staff were arguing in front of customers
