05/20/2015 12:21 pm"Business folk" and "pre-theater" people alike gravitate to this "cavernous" Rock Center American seafooder for its "pristine fish", "gorgeous raw bar" and "classy" service; the "upscale" environs complete with outdoor seating help make it a "go-to" despite the "hefty" tab. |

01/19/2015 7:44 pmFood is good here, though vibe is very much so Midtown business lunch. The scallops entree was cooked to the right degree of tenderness, and the portions were not small. Service was very good, and the restaurant was very accommodating of late members of our party. Although a bit on the pricey side, Oceana provide quality food and service. |

12/22/2014 5:18 pmI'm not from New York, but this reminded me of one of the restaurants Patrick Bateman might have visited or ridiculed in American Psycho. For the price and reputation, I was a little disappointed in the food. The filet I had was nothing special. It was good, but didn't make me want more. Coupled with the potato confit, which was a little hard and heavy on the oil, I was satisfied but not exuberant about what I ate. The service, however, was excellent. Everyone was knowledgeable with a great personality. That's what made me want to write a positive review. |

10/07/2014 8:45 amHad pre-theatre dinner Sept. 30. June was our waiter. Professional, enthusiastic, accommodating and a good listener, not to mention affording us just the right amount of attention. He was an ambassador for the restaurant and gave excellent advice. The food was magnificent. I cannot recommend June or Oceana more strongly than five stars, else I would do so. You will not be disappointed. |

05/12/2014 7:18 pmFood was absolutely delicious. Great atmosphere, friendly and well-trained waitstaff who were very attentive. Only ISSUE is....the bar closest to the dining area needs someone to take a scrub brush to where the lip and the top meet...it is full of nasty scum. |

03/20/2014 5:58 pmThis restaurant is upscale and perfect for an intimate dinner. The seafood dishes at Oceana are usually cooked just right and the service is usually quite acceptable. I don't have any specific complaints, but I do expect more in terms of uniqueness / creativity from a Michelin starred restaurant. |
