Food:

Terrible. Waited forever for someone to take my order to-go. Sad thing is NO ONE WAS HARLDY IN THERE! Ended up at the bar. The bartender had too much going on and it started to affect her service. Manager just walking around looking crazy. Servers talking smack at the bar loud enough for customers to hear. Terrible. Either hire more people or retrain your staff.

Food:

The service was awesome! My server was very great, got our orders and got our food out fast. Once I got my food and I had started to eat I noticed as I was putting food into my mouth and DEAD ROACH dat had been cooked in my pasta!!

Being someone to regularly visits 3 and 4 star restaurants, I don't expect much from O'Charleys. Fresh rolls and okay prices for okay food. That's all I went into this restaurant expecting. And even considering that, it was somewhat of a disaster. By far the most unpleasant experience I've had at an O'Charleys restaurant ever. We had a group of 7 on a Monday night. The first of us to arrive told the host we needed a table for seven. This was at 6:15. By the time I arrived at 6:35 (twenty minutes later), we had not been seated. In fact, we had not been acknowledged by the flurry of hosts, hostesses and wait staff that was regularly congregated in the front. The first of our party to arrive only saw the person she spoke with once - when she spoke to him about needing a table - and then he disappeared for the rest of the night! At 6:40 when the rest of our party arrived (25 minutes after requesting a table..on a Monday night...when we can clearly see several large enough tables available), we still had not been spoken to. Finally, one person from our party spoke up to a passing waitress and tried to explain that we'd been there for half an hour and hadn't seen the original host once since speaking with him. The waitress paused for a moment...then walked off. Not a word. So, another person in our party speaks up to another passing member of the wait staff and re-re-explains the situation, to which he (much to my surprise) immediately takes on an incredibly ugly, condescending attitude. He explains to her that another party of 7 was directly in front of us and they had to be taken care of first. Not only had we collectively been sitting IN THE DOOR WAY FOR 30 MINUTES, but also, there wasn't another party of 7 in the entire building. Not seated, not waiting, no where. He didn't apologize for our wait, he didn't apologize that we had just been blatantly ignored by another staff member, nothing. He just got rude and walked off.
Here's the kicker: the general manager was standing in this area throughout the ENTIRE thing! I won't pretend to know what he'd told his staff. I don't know what problems they'd been having that day or whether he was about to fire his whole crew. All I know is that he watched us wait, watched us be ignored, and watched his employee get an attitude with us when we were incredibly kind (because we've all worked in food service before.)
Finally, we were seated, and the passing waitress from earlier ended up being the one to wait on our table. She did an EXCELLENT job. She was polite, friendly, joked around, brought fresh rolls quickly, refilled our drinks, and did everything in a timely manner. Our orders were all correct and we had no complaints (other than that my chicken on my salad tasted straight up like a hot dog, but that has nothing to do with her!!) I'm not sure what happened with the miscommunication earlier in the evening, but she was an excellent waitress. The stars are for her alone - I would give her 5 stars if I could designate them solely to her.
As we were getting up to leave, the manager who was standing in the door way earlier came by to ask us how everything was and said if we needed anything to let him know. That was a kind gesture, one that I often see in O'Charleys restaurants, but it was difficult to process and appreciate when he was present for our 30 minute wait time when an invisible party of 7 needed to be seated in front of us.
Like I said earlier, I don't expect much from O'Charleys. But this visit was very, very rough.

Been here twice now thinking my first AWFUL visit was just them being short staffed or something. I was wrong! Worst place ever! Lousy service BOTH visits! Hope you have time to spare, because WAITING is all you do here! My waitress was rude, and obnoxious. Managers could care less. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

I came into this so called establishment on my birthday the other day expecting to eat some great food and a drink or two but my entire birthday there was a waste!!! I am utterly appalled at the Bartlett location I never expected to have a bad visit because O'Charley's was and had always been a favorite hang out for me and my friends we would go 2 sometimes 3 days a week and always enjoyed our visits but that was my experience at the Cordova location. My server at the Bartlett location was what I would call nice nasty. My dinner party and I which consisted of only me and my best friend and he invited two of his friends we arrived at 8:40 the server took 20 minutes bringing out our dinner rolls we finally recieved our salads at 9:40 might I add it took another 10 minutes to get dressing so all we could do was look at our salads until we finally stopped the manager and I assume that he notified our waitress because she finally returned a few minutes later with our dressings. I ordered the seafood trio and added hush puppies on the side when my food came my friends were under my fish hard burnt cold and soaked in fish grease the fish was soft and I only recieved two meager pieces mostly batter and fried hard but since my shrimp was still hot and the slaw was good and not to mention i was starving so I just let the waitress know I needed some hot fries she didn't return with my fries until 30 minutes later and still hadn't brought out my hush puppies by this time I was highly pissed so I ordered a drink which was delightful thanks to the bartender who I had no problem tipping. When I finally recieved my hush puppies they were sweet cold and tasted like an abomination in my mouth!!!! The manager was rude fat and lazy we were the only people in the entire restaurant and they couldn't even treat us decently Never Again!!!!!
