This is one of the best salad bars in town. I love how the menu always changes with most items based on fresh, local ingredients. The kids play area makes this a great option if you want to have a peaceful meal.

The food is great, spendy but worth it. The mushroom soup is amazing and the salad bar has lots of in house made items you won't find anywhere else. My sister is fond of those scones that they will serve with lemon curd if you ask. With a family that has tastes ranging from American Midwest to vegan its nice hat my whole family can eat there.

Though it seems to be a popular place on Sundays, my husband and I were fairly disappointed. The menu did offer numerous vegan options, but not being vegan, I don't have a lot to compare. My husband and I both ordered egg dishes, which were decent, nothing outstanding; but the breakfast potatoes were extremely dry and though they looked to be covered in spices, tasted rather bland and maybe even slightly undercooked. Nothing we'd go back for, especially weighing price and quality beside one another. Maybe the pancakes would be a better choice...

I went to visit Old Wives Tales last week-end. I used to go there a lot with my family when we lived in Oregon. I live out of town now. I was so disappointed with the food the service, pretty much everything. It has changed a lot and I suspect it has been sold from the original owners. The food is not like I remembered it. The oven baked pancakes used be huge. Now they are very ordinary looking and flat, not much too them. I had roasted vegetables and potatoes - it was barely edible. It was dry red potatoes, a few black olives thrown in , some dried mushrooms and feta cheese thrown on it. Then there were raw onions on top. Nothing had been sauteed at all. It was pretty bad. I got some soup and even that doesn't taste the same. I am very sad that this place has gone down so much. Our waitress was marginal and was actually made a snide remark to my brother when we were leaving. Definitely willl not be going back.

I really enjoy going here. This place has a nice relaxing atmosphere. The waitresses have always been pleasant to talk with and eager to get anything you might want. There is a wide variety of food to explore, and I have always enjoyed everything. This is a great place for catching up with friends, talking, and even playing cards or reading.
