11/05/2011 10:37 pm![]() Food was ok. Never had authentic German food so maybe I'm not use to the bland flavors. Service was excellent as well as the atmosphere. |

09/27/2011 8:03 pm![]() Finishing a bland, greasy, overpriced Reuben sandwich. The entire meal was disappointing at best. The lemonade and coffee were watered down, the sugar bowl filthy, the outside vermin collector in plain view of our table, and the waitress in green chipped nail polish. A $16.00 |

05/31/2011 12:04 pm![]() I wonder about the reviews here that almost caused us to miss out on a great place. Rude and unfriendly staff? A smile by the owner when we arrived and a handshake when we left is what we got, along with EXCELLENT food and service from a REAL waiter, not some indifferent Barbie clone. We will go back. Thank you Eva for running a great place! |

06/09/2010 3:09 am![]() It has come to our attention that this restaurant has been cheating their customers for years. For example the delicious treats and desserts although they are said to be home maid are nothing more than Cisco wholesale. Wait, it gets even better. So you think you are eating veal in your Schnitzel like it says on the menu? Think again. Nothing more than pork pounded to death. Talk about deceptive advertising! If nothing else, people should be entitled to know what they eat. No need to lie. At least my wife and I think so. |

05/16/2010 9:35 pm![]() We usually got to Bavarian on 78 near Kirby, which is awesome, but when they were closed and we were in the mood for German, we decided to give Old World a try. How horrible! The service was terrible. We saw our waitress only 3 times. We had to ask the owner for water, and she was rude and acted as if we had disturbed her. They were not busy at all! They charged $10 for a turkey sandwich. There prices were extremly high, and when we got the food it was not good at all. When we expressed that we were disapointed in the service and food, they didnt say sorry, shrugged, and turned away. Skip this place and go to Bavarian on hwy 78. |
