Was fine the first time (average to good depending on sushi roll), aside from the miso tasting completely wrong (compared to all other sushi restaurants). However, the second time we went there was just before close, and the quality was noticeably poor in comparison; the salmon sashimi was not even remotely fresh, and I asked for a refund. Not returning. For instance, I would prefer sushi from Fry's in comparison because at least it is consistent and fresh. Kazoku, Sachiko, and Ichiban are my favorites.

Service was good.. Sushi was just OK. Also wouldn't recommend using Groupon at this restaurant.

Service was bad.. Took forever to get food. Appetizer served after food. Food all came out separately. Would not return

Glad to hear happy hour has been extended til 7pm... By far best sushi prices in town. On A Roll has fantastic atmosphere, from the lighting, down to the music they play. I appreciate the excellent customer service. Don't let the construction intimate you, there is free parking in the Pennington garage for the first hour.

My girlfriend and I went there because she discount coupon to try them out.

We arrived just as the band was setting up. The waitress was quick to get our drink orders, but that was about the last good thing that evening. We ordered the Aloha Roll, beef bulgogi, and later green muscles. The Aloha Roll was good. However, the bulgogi was questionable. It came with tofu, kimchi, broccoli, and rice. The veggies were pathetic, and there was no where near enough.

The waitress must have been mentally distraught. Her beloved (Los) Suns had just lost to the Lakers in a nail-bitter, last second, heartbreaker. She only offered to refill our drinks once, and we had to flag her down to get the check. She seemed put out when we did. On top of that, she never came back to get our payment. We waited 10 minutes before walking up to the bar to pay.

It is style over substance. If you like the club scene this may be the place for you. But, better sushi is not hard to find.
