09/16/2015 2:33 amI myself am a server & I understand if it's busy but it is completely empty in the restaurant. I was sitting for 15 minutes and had a server pass me 4 times. Finally a server came up and asked if I had been helped I replied saying "No but I'm very --" and she walked away I couldn't even finish my sentence. I got up walked to the front because I have to go get ready for work myself (I was trying to have a nice dinner before) & all of the servers were standing on the back walk staring/ talking about me. Someone came up and tried to sit me again & I told the gentleman I was not sitting down to be ignored for another 15 minutes & I was trying to order to go because I had no time to go anywhere else. It took the manager "Eric or Aaron" (he never introduced himself and the gentleman was whispering) 10 minutes to come see me after the mess up to hand me my check. I was furious, had to wait another 10 mins for someone to cash out my check and when another server brought me my food he handed me $5 off coupons for my next visit but they couldn't take care of my check this visit ? It was horrible & hopefully it was an off night for them but I'm so mad I'm doing a review when I never do reviews unless I am so happy with my sevice & I want them to be recognized for it but this was horrible & they continued to ignore me. |

05/26/2015 9:09 pmWorst experience I have had at a restaurant in a very long time! Manager was horrible. What should have been an hour lunch turned into a 2 hour lunch. People around us had their food and left way before us with the same amount of people in their party and came in after us. Then they charged my coworkers card 2 tomes and a hushed my other coworker as she was politely trying to explain the problem we were having and then after all that we weren't even offered any compensation of any kind. Barely an apology. I will never be going to an On The Border again and have now spread the word amongst our other coworkers so you have now lost many customers because of your lack of customer service. I have worked and still work in the customer service industry and would not treat customers like this! Extremely disgusted and disappointed! To top it off. .the food was not that good and they got our order wrong and it wasn't crowded (understandably so if this is how they normally treat customers) I don't know what was going on but they need to get their act together or kiss this location goodbye. Also. ..we had to go get our own to go boxes and bag and refill our own water. Waiter was overwelmed. |

05/26/2015 4:55 pmToday's Lunch Was HORRIBLE! Took 2 hours.... Had to go get my own pitcher of water, napkins and bag for my food. My Card was charged multiple times for more than one meal. Our poor waiter was so overwhelmed and no one came to help him. Called his manager Aaron Estrada over... had the nerve to put his hand in my co-workers face and shush her. Never again will I dine at an On The Border. |
