09/06/2014 4:33 pmHappily surprised with this restaurant. They redeemed themselves from having an ok experience before. They had the prefix menu on Friday night and it was actually very affordable, good food, nice clean and open space, good staff. My only dislike is that we felt pushed out of the restaurant at not even 10.30pm on a Friday night, they even turned off the music so we would leave. I guess this is just a sleepy town and it's not One Market's fault. I'd come back again earlier so we don't feel rushed out. Our server was very friendly and helpful though. |

05/30/2014 9:14 pmA few years ago I hosted a party in the kitchen table for a special birthday. It was crazy, wonderful fun. The drinks, food and wine was fantastic and it was a riot joking around with the kitchen staff. We began the evening in the wine cellar (not really a cellar) tasting wine and ended in the pastry room creating our our dessert masterpieces, which were a delicious mess after all that wine. A party no one will forget! |

09/21/2015 10:48 amThis "upscale" choice just "steps from the Ferry Building" in SoMa features "innovative" New American cuisine that's presented professionally and is consistently good (the Weekly Beast menu is a special treat); the "elegant" dining room with "huge windows overlooking the Embarcadero" feels "refined without being stuffy", and despite being "pricey", this longtime favorite still holds up, especially for biz lunch. |
