Very disappointed. Food came out cold. They had no sauce for the oysters. My niece ordered a corn dog which came out frozen. The fruit drinks tasted like faucet water. Overall very disappointed.

Very displeased with my lunch experience here. First, the atmosphere is much to be desired: plastic table covers, random plastic fish covering the walls, and a mexican Justin Beiber playing on the TVs. The tortilla chips were made from some heavy cornmeal dough that made them really thick & dense and taste weird. The salsa was below-average and wasn't even as good as store-bought brands. I was also served a random cup of too-salty beans with my chips and salsa. Trying to fill me up early, I guess? Being that it was my first time here, I asked my server what she recommended. She proceeded to read the entire menu aloud to me. I interjected with "Well, what do you like here?" To which she mumbled "Oh, I dunno..." but then halfway pointed to the fried fish item, which I ended up getting just to be done with it. I will say that the service was decently quick, although the servers are dressed up in hot pink mini-dresses a la 1950's car-hops...all that's missing is the roller skates...So I got my meal and instantly noticed that it was just a fried piece of catfish, fries, a piece of buttered toast, and "mexican" rice. Yes, a fried meat plus 3 starches...The fries were limp and a bit soggy, the toast was just unpleasant, and the "mexican" rice tasted burnt, old, and poorly seasoned. The fish was coated in what had to be a crushed up batter of the tortilla chips as it was heavy, oddly thick, and just as bland. Mind you, this place touts itself as a mexican seafood restaurant, however there was NOTHING mexican about my meal other than the terrible rice. I ended up peeling the breading off the fish and then eating it with the tartar sauce provided. Oh, and this all cost me around 10 bucks (after the dollar tip I left, which was more than generous...). The one positive thing I will say about this place (and why it's not getting 1 star) is that at least it didn't make me sick. Other than that, I say avoid at all costs.
