03/20/2012 4:06 pmI wanted to love this place, the veggie friendly menu, the hipster vibe, the cool drinks but the staff was rude and the place was dirty. My sandwich was nothing great for the price, not fresh, mediocre bread. If I want to get some healthy food, I will trek to Life Alive. |

02/14/2012 10:00 pmBreak on through to The OtherSide! (sorry, couldn't help myself). I first came here on a sunny spring day, and the patio was as excellent as the beer selection (hint: 5 stars). My love affair with Anderson Valley Brewing started with a can of Summer Solstice, and 21st Amendment's Hell or High Watermelon also got the thumbs up. As for the inside of the OtherSide, it's dark and cavernous, perfect for scarfing nachos or watching projected movies in the comfort of your own hipster den. Dig it. |

02/12/2012 3:31 pmDear Otherside, I would really love to love you. I just can't. I really can't. Your food is mediocre and overpriced and your service is often very bad. You have a lovely beer menu but plenty of places have just as lovely beer menus and better food and less rude staff. Your music is good but by god TURN IT DOWN! As much as I enjoy Fugazi I'd also like to have a conversation with the person I'm with without going hoarse from shouting across a table that's 2 1/2 feet long. I'm sure you are super cool for freshly 21 year old hipsters but I am a crotchety old lady of 24 who just can't handle your post-teen rebellion. |

02/10/2012 9:32 pmThis is a nice place to go for brunch on Saturday or Sunday. It is usually full of college kids and hipsters, but if you can get past that, the food is nice and they have a good beer menu. The music is always pretty good, too. They have a number of vegan/vegetarian options and substitutions. Go for the breakfast burrito. |

03/26/2010 4:46 amOverall it was a nice atmosphere, we ate outside (though it was a bit windy--certain sections of boston create that wind tunnel effect) and the food was pretty tasty. my girlfriend and i split an order of nachos (not much cheese, but topped with great house-chili) and an advanced BLT (lots of great flavors and textures, but not worth the $10 price that came with it). It was a nice place to have lunch and im sure ill end up eating there again sometime |
