Bad service. Rude people. I'll not go back again. It was the second time I went there and service still bad. I had to leave without making an order.

Over all expierence was great. Little slip ups and confusion but all got settle correctly. I have to give big thanks to the employee named Clayton. He showed true character and made the overall expierence great. He was helpful, friendly and over all a great addition to that business

The running joke amongst my friends is that Outback is the best steak in Bakersfield -- and after growing up there, eating at all of the places in town, yeah, that's pretty much true.

Here's the score: every time my friends and I are in town catching up, we have to come here. Yes, it's tradition. However, tradition be damned, if the food was horrible, we wouldn't come.

This is a chain, so you know what you're getting. However, the thing about Bako is that it's a chain town -- most of the "best" restaurants in town are chains. That's not to say individual, locally owned places don't exist and aren't out there, they're just less popular.

When you go here, get the cheese fries, get them layered. After that, really, you're good to go.

I've gotten to-go twice. The first time my "medium rare" filet was so raw it was inedible. I was willing to give it another shot since other locations are good but the second time the same order was so overcooked, it was like shoe leather. Do not go there if you want good food cooked properly!
